Create a hard save, use your command, test the result, then reload. Long War’s script is fragile. One wrong GiveAbility can make a soldier unselectable forever, or a RemoveTech can break the entire research tree. Console commands in LWotC are a lifeline for bugged missions and a sandbox for theorycrafting, but they can easily destroy the “fair brutality” that makes Long War great.
