"Beta, dharti aur paatal ke beech ek dewar hai. Us dewar mein satt chuhed hain. Har chuhe se ek raksha nikalta hai. Saat raat, saat rakshak. Lekin agar aathvin raat aagayi... toh koi nahi bach sakta."

Opening Scene (Dubbed in Hindi with a rustic, fearful tone):

Aditi is driving Kabir to a temple in Varanasi. She turns on the radio. A Hindi news bulletin plays: "Delhi mein ek aadmi ne achanak apne pure parivaar ko aaina dikha diya... sabki aankhen jal gayin. Police ke mutabik, wahin tarika jo 300 saal pehle..." Aditi looks at Kabir. His eyes are completely black. He smiles. "Aathvin raat aa gayi, Aditi. Ab... khel shuru." Cut to black. In present-day Mumbai, a young archaeology student, , inherits a strange red-and-black box from his late grandfather. The box is covered in Sanskrit inscriptions and locked with seven iron seals. Kabir’s friend, Rohan (Dub: Sumit Wadhwa): "Yaar, yeh box toh filmon wala lagta hai. Kholke dikha na!" Kabir: "Nahi. Dada ne kaha tha – mat kholna. Chahe kuch bhi ho." That night, Kabir hears whispers. The seals begin to rattle. One falls off. Then another.

"Jo saat raaton mein nahi mara... woh aathvin raat ka raaz ban jaata hai. Kyunki shaitan nahi aata. Shaitan jaagta hai... tumhare andar." "Beta, dharti aur paatal ke beech ek dewar hai

The screen shows a dimly lit ashram in the Himalayas. An old tantrik (Aghori) speaks to his disciple.

(Translation: Son, there’s a wall between earth and hell. That wall has seven holes. From each hole emerges a guardian. Seven nights, seven guardians. But if the eighth night comes... no one survives.) Act 1: The Ancient Box Arrives Saat raat, saat rakshak

The seventh seal breaks at midnight. But nothing happens. No spirit. No scream. Only silence.
