As he read, Peterpan began to feel a strange connection to the boy in the story. It was as if he were living the tale himself, soaring through the skies on the back of a pixie, battling the evil Captain Hook, and laughing with the Lost Boys.
Entranced, Peterpan read on, devouring the words like a hungry traveler at a feast. The story was about his own adventures, and those of his friends, in a land called Neverland.
The villagers thought Peterpan had gone mad, but Nenek just smiled knowingly. She had always told him that stories had the power to transport us to other worlds, and now Peterpan had discovered that for himself.
When he finally closed the book, Peterpan felt changed. He knew that he had to find a way to enter the world of the story, to become a part of it. And so, with a sense of determination and wonder, he set out on a journey to find Neverland.
