Pick up (theoretical) or "Introduction to Linear Algebra" by Lee W. Johnson, R. Dean Riess, and Jimmy T. Arnold (applied). Johnson’s book is very similar in spirit to Hadley and much easier to find as a modern ebook.
But there is a problem. The book is long out of print. Physical copies on AbeBooks often cost north of $100, and university libraries have a habit of hiding their single copy in the "archives."
But don’t waste three hours searching dodgy Russian websites. Go to the Internet Archive, borrow the scan, and start taking notes. The book is a tool, not a trophy.
