It’s a feminist anthem without being preachy, an artist’s manifesto wrapped in melody. The production leans into a blues-rock meets pop vibe. Think gritty electric guitars, a steady backbeat, and sudden dynamic shifts that keep the listener engaged. The song doesn’t follow a predictable Bollywood structure—there’s no sudden rap break or forced dance drop. Instead, it builds organically, allowing the vocals to lead.

The bridge section, where both singers trade lines and layer over each other, is the song’s emotional peak. It feels almost improvised, yet perfectly controlled. Rating: ★★★★½ (4.5/5)

I Wanna Sing is not background music. It demands to be played loud—preferably while driving alone or standing in front of a mirror. Sunidhi and Dominique don’t just showcase their vocal prowess; they deliver a statement. For anyone who has ever felt their passion being muted by conformity, this song is a much-needed release.

, on the other hand, offers the perfect counterbalance. Her smoother, jazz-tinged texture adds depth and contrast. When the two harmonize, it’s electrifying—like two different shades of fire coming together. Dominique’s background vocals and melodic layering give the song a richer, almost gospel-like quality in the chorus. Lyrics & Theme: More Than Just a Title The song’s title is deceptively simple. “I Wanna Sing” isn’t just about the act of singing—it’s about reclaiming one’s voice. The lyrics speak to the universal desire to break free from expectations, rules, and judgments. Lines like “Don’t tell me what’s wrong or right / I just wanna sing tonight” resonate deeply with anyone who has ever felt silenced or boxed in.

The Cranberries, early Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy rock tracks, and powerful female-led anthems.

Here’s a review of the song by Sunidhi Chauhan and Dominique Cerejo . Song Review: I Wanna Sing – Sunidhi Chauhan & Dominique Cerejo In an industry often dominated by love ballads and item numbers, I Wanna Sing arrives like a gust of fresh, rebellious air. This powerful, unapologetic anthem brings together two of India’s most versatile female vocalists—Sunidhi Chauhan and Dominique Cerejo—for a track that is as much a declaration of artistic freedom as it is a musical experience. Vocals: A Masterclass in Power and Restraint Let’s start with the obvious: Sunidhi Chauhan is a force of nature. Known for her ability to switch between sultry, soft tones and explosive, rock-infused belts, she brings raw passion to every line. Here, her voice carries the weight of someone who has fought for her place in the industry—and won. She doesn’t just sing the lyrics; she lives them.

  • The print is too small. You need to add a feature to enlarge the page and print so that it is readable.

  • As a long time comixology user I am going to be purchasing only physical copies from now on. I have an older iPad that still works perfectly fine but it isn’t compatible with the new app. It’s really frustrating that I have lost access to about 600 comics. I contacted support and they just said to use kindles online reader to access them which is not user friendly. The old comixology app was much better before Amazon took control

  • As Amazon now owns both Comixology and Goodreads, do you now if the integration of comics bought in Amazon home pages will appear in Goodreads, like the e-books you buy in Amazon can be imported in your Goodreads account.

  • My Comixology link was redirecting to a FAQ page that had a lot of information but not how to read comics on the web. Since that was the point of the bookmark it was pretty annoying. Going to the various Amazon sites didn’t help much. I found out about the Kindle Cloud Reader here, so thanks very much for that. This was a big fail for Amazon. Minimum viable product is useful for first releases but I don’t consider what is going on here as a first release. When you give someone something new and then make it better over the next few releases that’s great. What Amazon did is replace something people liked with something much worse. They could have left Comixology the way it was until the new version was at least close to as good. The pushback is very understandable.

  • I have purchased a lot from ComiXology over the years and while this is frustrating, I am hopeful it will get better (especially in sorting my large library)
Thankfully, it seems that comics no longer available for purchase transferred over with my history—older Dark Horse licenses for Alien, Conan, and Star Wars franchises now owned by Marvel/Disney are still available in my history. Also seem to have all IDW stuff (including Ghostbusters).
I am an iOS user and previously purchased new (and classic) issues through ComiXology.com. Am now being directed to Amazon and can see “collections” available but having trouble finding/purchasing individual issues—even though it balloons my library I prefer to purchase, say, Incredible Hulk #181 in individual digital form than in a collection. Am hoping that I just need more time to learn Amazon system and not that only new issues are available.

  • Thank you for the thorough rundown. Because of your heads-up, I\\\\\\\’m downloading my backups right now. I share your hope that Amazon will eventually improve upon the Comixolgy experience in the not-too-long term.

  • Hi! Regarding Amazon eating ComiXology – does this mean no more special offers on comics now?
That’s been a really good way to get me in to comics I might not have tried – plus I have a wish list of Marvel waiting for the next BOGO day!
