If you are using Minna no Nihongo 2 (Lessons 26–50), you have likely noticed a familiar pattern: Every few chapters, you hit a section titled “Fukushuu” (復習) . In the heat of wanting to learn new grammar, many students skip these review pages to "save time."

Go back to the last Fukushuu you skipped. Do not move on to Lesson 46 until you score 90% on it.

Fukushuu has listening exercises (Choukai). Listen without reading the script. Can you hear the difference between "Hayaku okiru" (wake up early) and "Hayaku okosareru" (be woken up early)? If not, replay it 5 times.
