Kitab Bustanul Arifin (بستان العارفين), meaning "The Garden of the Gnostics," is a classical Islamic text authored by the renowned Shafi'i scholar and Sufi master, Imam An-Nawawi (1233–1278 CE / 631–676 H). Known for his other masterpieces like Riyadhus Salihin and Al-Arba'in , Imam An-Nawawi wrote this concise yet profound work as a guide to spiritual purification ( tazkiyatun nafs ), asceticism ( zuhd ), and the path to true divine knowledge ( ma'rifah ).
