Season 12 is most notable for the unusually high number of veteran cheerleaders cut during training camp. Unlike previous seasons where veterans were almost guaranteed a spot barring major issues, Season 12 saw Kelli Finglass (Director) and Judy Trammell (Choreographer) enforce a ruthless "what have you done for me lately" standard.
