He shrugged, yawned, and closed the laptop.
“Hello, younger me. You just activated the recursion lock. Every time you use that key, you overwrite a fragment of your memory with mine. You won’t remember this conversation tomorrow. But you will keep using 1Password 7. Because you hate forgetting more than you fear being erased.”
He had bought a legitimate license key years ago. But where had he saved it? In a secure note. Inside 1Password. Which was now locked.
